A Girl with a Vision

This weekend I took the time to do something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time now. I made a Vision Board! Yes, it took several hours and the end result isn’t perfect, but I did it! I used a free online program from Oprah that was super easy to use and created an image that I can print out and post where I can see it or set as the wallpaper on my computer’s desktop (which I did!) They have about 500 images you can choose from or you can upload your own and add words that mean something to you.

It’s kinda awesome!

My Vision for Myself!

I get really excited every time I see it! These are all things I’m working toward, from my dream home to a trip to St. John’s, Newfoundland. Jeeze, I can’t wait for all this stuff to start materializing in my life! Won’t THAT be exciting?! You really should make one for yourself if you haven’t already, it’s great fun to create and feels really good when you look at it.

Today I’m also feeling pretty excited because my boyfriend is coming home from working out west soon. Like possibly next week! And this time he’ll be home for a few months until summer when he gets called back. I’ll be going to Moncton to meet him at the airport and then he wants us to hide away in the city for a few days of alone time before getting back to the hustle and bustle of real life. I can’t wait! If for no other reason than the food and wine 🙂

He is a steak and potatoes type of guy, who can’t tolerate anything spicy but we’re going to hit up my favourite Indian and vegetarian restaurants. Mmmm, mmmm, yum! I’m pretty surprised that he’s so willing to step out of his comfort zone, fingers crossed he enjoys the food as much as I do.
